About me

I was born in 1967 in Wörth at the Danube in beautiful Bavaria, where I live today with my husband, my 2 daughters, a Golden Retriever girl and 3 cats.
I studied architecture in Regensburg and worked in building construction for a long time.
I have always dealt with creative things and "crafted" every free minute.
In 2003 I accidentally came to the winding of glass beads. It quickly became clear that I want to do that too.
In countless hours I have with my daughter Julia collected everything I needed for my new hobby.
A burner, which we got from Isi-Beads in Stuttgart, an oxygen concentrator from Passau, glass from Lauscha and so much more. Over the Internet, I got then tools from the US and a lot of literature.
My dad always helped me with setting up my workshop with advice and assistance. Without him I would not have made it all. "Thanks dad," even though I can not say that to you anymore.
Since then almost no day has passed when the glass did not fascinate me.
The possibilities are endless and new ideas emerge every day. Constantly trying to try out new materials, to learn threading techniques, I have now purchased a tempering, which ensures the durability of my beads.
The world's best husband takes care of the technical details of my workshop. He is always anxious to build me new tools, to make work easier, to install a ventilation, to wait for the technology and much, much more - Thank you honey, what would I be without you!
Not to forget, my daughters, when I need them, they are there.
Thank you for your active support - I love you!
